Trump with a wild first day in office has made a small change to the current healthcare system that may have a major impact on our insurance exchange. It isn’t a specific direction, as he currently is putting together a plan to “repeal and replace” the ACA simultaneously. However, he did sign an executive order stating agencies can:
"waive, defer, grant exemptions from, or delay the implementation" of provisions deemed to impose fiscal burdens on states, companies or individuals.
There isn’t anything specific in the executive order which is interesting. He does seem determined to undermine the current system. We can only wait and see what will happen.
Below are a few articles I found interesting on the subject of Trump’s plans and executive order. I’ll continue to stay in the loop on all Trump’s plans. Until then, it is best to stay educated on his activities.
