In 2010, 16% of Americans did not have health insurance; that number is now down to 9% mostly in thanks to the Affordable Care Act. It didn't come without a cost, however. We're paying for it in deductibles and copays.
However, the topic is just now getting interesting. Who will carry the Obamacare torch? Clinton, or Trump?
The subject is VERY important to voters preference and we want to hear more from our candidates. SO... who most reflects your opinion?
Clinton plans on expanding Obamacare
She wants to simplify enrollment, make it more accessible, and lower individual costs on all fronts. Voters have made it clear that these increasing costs are a big deal.
Trump wants to repeal Obamacare
Donald Trump has made clear his intention are to get rid of the current legislation and replace it with a system that requires less federal government support. He believes he can turn Healthcare into a more profitable business by opening the market to free trade and giving more control to the states. He also hopes to find lost money by cracking down on medicare fraud and enforcing price transparency from doctors and hospitals. Individuals would be able to shop around for the best price. Very interesting!
So, does this affect your voting decision?
