Keaton manages HealthyMarks and is the head coach for the beach volleyball team at Sage Creek
One of the greatest aspects of managing HealthyMarks is that I’ve had time to pursue the passion I have for coaching beach volleyball. I just wrapped up my 4th season with Sage Creek High School in Carlsbad meaning some of these girls have been with me the entire time. It was often tough running a team in the midst of the pandemic. Still, every time our team got together it lifted my spirits. This team has been a huge highlight in my life.
I grew up playing beach volleyball at Moonlight Beach in Encinitas. I remember playing alongside some of the United States very best volleyball players! Current AVP Pro Kelly Reeves taught me how to pepper back when I was just learning the sport. She along with the rest of Moonlight’s group of amazing players shared their love for the sport with me. I am blessed to have been raised as part of the San Diego Beach Volleyball community. A life playing games on the beach is the best way to live! I hope these young men and women take their love for the game and create a new generation of ballers.
I also coach the boys team at Sage Creek in the Fall. Another friend of mine, Ryan McDevitt, coaches with me for the boys season. Ryan has a lot of experience as a beach volleyball coach because he does it for a living. He is one of the Head Coaches at Tamarack Beach Volleyball Club in Carlsbad.
I am very much looking forward to our upcoming boys season starting late August. Last year, our boys snagged a 3rd place finish as one of the three best teams in all of San Diego County. I’m very proud of these guys. We have a young group of great Juniors who will be leading the team this coming season. See you on the beach!
Keaton Marks is the owner and CEO at HealthyMarks including the medicare team. Keaton was born and raised in Encinitas. He often rode his bike through town and to the local beaches like Moonlight. Keaton knows it is important to have a local resource, someone who understands the area, the hospitals and networks of doctors.
