The Republicans make their first step towards repeal and replace

May 5, 2017

This week, Donald Trump and the Republican party narrowly got enough votes to pass their American Health Care Act in the House.  However, there is a lot more to be done before this becomes law, and I'm certain the law will look much different than this bill currently looks.

This is going to be a tough uphill battle for the republicans as Obamacare has reached an all-time high in appreciation.  Americans have come to respect the work Obama put in to ensure insurance for every American.  We shall see what changes the Republicans will need to make to 1) Pass this bill to law, and 2) Keep their seats in government.  The Republicans who voted for this bill may want to watch out for angry American voters!
